Bodysmart runs a range of group exercise sessions at its fully equipped studio in the Perth CBD. All group sessions are conducted by experienced physiotherapists who can each train up to 10 clients in one session.

“GENERAL CLASSES” (Functional Strength, Mat Pilates, Stretch & Roll – 1:10 physiotherapist to client ratio)
1. Bodysmart Functional Strength
Bodysmart Functional Strength integrates pulleys, dumbbells, weight bars, plyometrics, kettle bells, power bands and other gym equipment to condition your entire body. These circuit style cardio/strength sessions will also improve your core stability, balance, mobility and agility. These sessions are best suited to those that are at the advanced stage of injury recovery or are symptom-free.
Bodysmart Mat Pilates uses mats, fit-balls, weights, foam rollers and magic circles to tone and condition your entire body. The sessions combine strength and flexibility Pilates exercises. General mat sessions are best suited to those new to Pilates or are recovering from injury. Advanced mat sessions are best for experienced Pilates clients at the advanced stage of injury recovery, or are symptom-free.
3. Bodysmart Stretch & Roll
Bodysmart Stretch & Roll integrates foam rollers, spikey balls and power bands to stretch and loosen your body. A great way to offset body stiffness that develops with office work or repetitive sport such as cycling and running. Suitable for both injured and symptom-free individuals.
Group Reformer Pilates
Incorporates an action-packed repertoire of exercises all performed on the specialised Pilates Reformer.
Most suited to those with some Pilates experience who are pain-free.

To ensure you achieve your specific goals, our trained physiotherapists will customise a unique, targeted exercise program for you.
Step 1: Attend a 1:1 Assessment / Instruction session
We start with a 1:1 assessment/instruction session where a physiotherapist will assess your movement patterns, mobility and flexibility. The physiotherapist will teach you the basics and ensure you are ready to start the classes. This assessment is claimable through your Private Health fund if you have physiotherapy cover.
Step 2: Progress to physiotherapist supervised group sessions
- Once you have mastered the key skills you can participate in the group sessions
- Your physiotherapy instructor will keep a close eye on your form and technique
- Most private health funds pay a rebate under HICAPS code 561 (Group Physio Consultation)
