Keyboard shortcuts are widely recognised as not only helping you get your job done faster but also of reducing your risk of gaining an RSI through repetitive mouse use. We have gathered the most commonly used actions and listed the shortcut in our handy guide.

[Ctrl] + [Esc] Open Start Menu
[Alt] + [Tab] Switch between open programs
Hold the [Alt] key and use the [Tab] key to select a program when there are multiple open
Press [Alt] + [Tab] once to switch when only two programs are open
 [Alt] + [F4] Quit program
 [Alt] + [F4]  (ONLY WHEN ON DESKTOP) – Bring up power/sleep dialogue box
 [Shift] + [Delete] Delete program permanently
 [Windows Logo] + [L] Lock the computer (without using [Ctrl] + [Alt] + [Del])
 [Windows Logo] + [D] Show desktop
 [Windows Logo] + [M] Minimise all windows
[Ctrl] + [C] Copy
[Ctrl] + [X] Cut
[Ctrl] + [V] Paste
[Ctrl] + [Alt] + [V] Paste special

[F2] Rename object
